New Look Bolts Begin Long Road to the Super Bowl

The Bolts begin their preseason this weekend. Our Chargers are heavily favored to win this years Super Bowl! With a new Head Coach, new uniforms, and the best regular season record of any NFL Team last season, all the superstituous predictions point to them winning the Lombardi Trophy this season. Go Bolts!

Mr. Padre Tony Gwynn Honored in the Baseball Hall of Fame

Congrats Tony! You deserve to be in the Baseball HOF! I enjoyed watching you get your eight National League batting championships, and your run at .400 in 1994. Thanks for taking our Padres to 2 World Series Berths (1984 and 1998).

E3 is now lame, so the San Diego Comic Con is the Big Event!

E3 in LA is now a shattered fragment of what it use to be, so the San Diego Comic Convention is now the Big Event! It's almost here...July 25 thru the July 29! Yeah, Coach Ed is one of those "starving" artists, but I've been going to this event since I was a kid when it was held at the El Cortez. Enjoy!

We just recently got back from Florida. I thought I'd share the photo of the sunrise over the ocean (which I rarely see since I live in San Diego). After spending over half of our trip either on the plane or stuck in airports, my only advice is: don't fly Delta Airlines or have a connecting flight in Atlanta (the "Twilight Zone")!
