SLUGGERS CO-ED SOFTBALL - Fireworks in Mira Mesa!

The SOE Sluggers Co-Ed Softball Team continued their dominance by lighting up the sky with the big "bombers." HRs by Shaula and Joe set the tempo early in the game, then Scott (2 HRs), Eric (1 HR) and Josh (1 HR) hit bombs over the "silver" monster in Left Field late in the game. We'll see who has the most HRs over the fence at the end of the season. Sluggers Won 18-5!

SLUGGERS CO-ED SOFTBALL - Dominate Season Opener!

September 5, 2006 - 11:00 PM -- Congrats Sluggers Co-Ed Champs!

We were in championship season form last night for our 2006 Winter League Softball Season Opener. This is by far our best game of 2006, and it should get even better as the season continues. Great hustling defensive plays limited our opponents, Team Lopez, to only 6 runs. Moreover, our potent offense scored 22 runs (Sluggers Co-Ed franchise record). Chris and Coach Ed both went 4 for 4 with a home run each, the “Mash” (McWherter) Brothers kept us anticipating over the fence home runs (Scott hit the fence), Josh and Joe were running down every hit and throwing out runners from SS and 3rd base, Tristan made a great diving catch in RF, and the ladies were hitting the ball hard and making great plays.

Let's keep the "MO" rolling and have a fun season!
