SLUGGERS MENS SOFTBALL - Building "Mo" Into The Play-offs!

The Sluggers Mens Softball team has finally beaten all the teams in the league with a 28-12 victory over Team Ullrich. A win next week in the final game of the season secures them as the number one seed going into the play-offs. Team Ullrich didn't pick-up extra players for this round, and the Sluggers started the first inning by scoring 6 runs and never looked back. Jeremy raises is team leading average by going 5-for-5, and Eric slams a homer over the fence again. Great all around hitting by the team and good defensive plays!

SLUGGERS MENS SOFTBALL - Earns Play-off Berth!

The Sluggers Men's Softball 29-17 victory over Team Dankberg earned them a play-off berth for this season. The fourth loss in-a-row by Team Voss also allowed the Sluggers to move into first place in their division. Congrats Team and Keep it Going!

SLUGGERS CO-ED SOFTBALL - On a roll with another victory!

The Sluggers Co-Ed Softball team is on a roll winning their third game in their last four outtings. Scoring the most runs ever for the team, they defeated Team Van Dyke 17-8. They are undefeated in the Month of May (and when they go and drink Margaritas at On The Borders after the game). Way to Go Team!

SLUGGERS MENS SOFTBALL - Two Big Wins!

The Sluggers Men's Softball Team began displaying their dominance in the second half of the season with big victories over the number 1 and number 2 seeded teams in the league (based on the team records). A 15-8 win over Team Voss finally got the "monkey off their backs" with their first victory over that team this season. Then a dominant 23-6 victory the following week in their first encounter with Team Mesa established the Sluggers's dominance. Kudos to Todd Carson for going 4-4 in the the latter game, hitting 3 home runs in his first 3 at-bats! Congrats Todd!

SLUGGERS CO-ED SOFTBALL - Great Second Victory of the Season!

Great Solid Defense against Team Lora and the 8 runs scored in the bottom of the 7th and 8th innings secures the Slugger Co-Ed Team's Second victory of the year by a score of 15-8. Their best complete game of the season. Way to go Sluggers!

SLUGGERS MENS SOFTBALL - First Loss to Ulrich

The Sluggers Mens Softball Team suffered their third loss of the season in their first match of the season against Team Ulrich. The loss should keep the race for the # 2, # 3, and # 4 seed very interesting this season.

SLUGGERS CO-ED SOFTBALL - Another tough loss

Sluggers Co-Ed Softball team outplayed their latest opponent for 7-innings with a 10-7 lead, but that one darn 15 run inning by their opponents killed them. Better luck next time team!

SLUGGERS MENS SOFTBALL - Win #4

Sluggers Men Softball Team DOMINATES last Wednesday evening in a 22-2 victory over arch-rivals Van Hyfte. At the mid-point in the season, the Sluggers are the #2 seed with a 4-2 record.
